The Perfect Brow Pencil for Blondes.

I thoughtlessly tossed a Soap and Glory ‘Archery’ Brow Pencil, £8 into my basket while in Boots earlier this year after spending far too long mulling over what item to pick up as part of their 3 for 2 deal. I actually didn’t come to use it for a good few months after purchasing and it was only after my trusty NARS Brow Pencil gave up on me when I needed to be running out the door that I finally reached for it and I was SO impressed.

I picked up the shade ‘Blondeshell’ which is a really nice ashy blonde. It offers the perfect balance of warmth and grey tone leaving brows looking super natural and never with a ginger hue, something unfortunately so common in blonde eyebrow pencils.

They do also offer an option for brunette's called ‘Hot Chocolate’ which I have used on clients. It is good. I would say it is quite a warm, rich brunette colour and so would be much too red toned for darker brunettes or if you are black haired.

This twist up pencil has a really fine nib offering very precise application meaning you can draw in natural looking hairs in gappy areas using gentle strokes. If you prefer an extremely groomed looking brow you can use this fine tip along the upper and lower edge of the brow to achieve a super defined finish.

The cherry on the cake for me is the wand at the opposite end meaning you can easily give brows a good brush through to ensure they are all heading in the same direction and great for softening colour after penciling to remove excess product and ensure brows are natural and wearable.

I am now on my 4th one of these and love it. I have even added it into my professional kit and reach for it more so these days than my SUQQU, NARS and Bobbi Brown brow products which at just £8 is pretty darn fabulous!

Enjoy! x
