Nail it.

Todays post is a bit of a shout out to my nail saviour and good friend Jo, owner of Nail Envy by Jo based at The Salon in Leamington Spa. I’ve been thinking about doing a nail related blog post for a while after having a recent little sort through of my abundance of polishes, most of which were very clumpy and yucky mostly because if I am totally honest I rarely really do them myself apart from the few times Jo actually has to take a holiday and I am left haphazardly filing away at my nails like a maniac and so rather than pretending I know what I am doing this post is all about her. 

I have been going to Jo for the last year after stalking her nail art on Instagram and plucking up the courage to book in as I was still a little scarred from the horrific gel nails I had for my year 11 prom which were an inch thick with gems, a dodgy french manicure, hell I think they even had some oriental looking nail art on them- all of which happened as some massive miscommunication between myself and the lady sat in front of me! I avoided nail salons since but got so fed up with having rubbish nails. Luckily Jo has never pulled such tricks! I have acrylic extensions with her, I tend to keep them no longer really than my natural nail but just love that they are always a perfect shape and an even length. My polish lasts a good 3 weeks without chipping when regular polish on me generally lasts all of five minutes! I am pretty boring with my polish choices but she's amazing at nail art too, so if you are one of those expressive kinds or are just feeling totally wild she will absolutely be able to fulfil all decorative nail needs. 

So I thought I would spread the word to all my local blog followers and clients as it's tricky to pin down a good nail technician. Any of my bridal clients reading definitely book in for a pre-wedding manicure to have those hands picture perfect for the day. The rest of you, treat yourself to a manicure- you wont regret it!
